An important detail is to set the **Camera Brightness** parameter in the [[wiki:v1:Camera_Pane|Signature Tuning]] tab to a low value, because the laser light will tend to be overexposed and appear white. You need to adjust the **Camera Brightness** down until you can clearly see the color of the laser light. You can then teach Pixy the color and it should detect the laser light very reliably.
